Needless to say, the subject of my quotes has veered away from douche bags and has settled somewhere between social criticism and our societies hang ups with sex and pornography. Go figure. I suppose sometimes it is easier to start a discussion about sexuality when it is staring you right in the face.
Roger Horrocks wrote a book called
Male Myths and Icons: Masculinity in Popular Culture. I read the chapter regarding pornography and it was indeed compelling. I will likely round up my thoughts regarding this chapter at a later date. Perhaps tomorrow. Perhaps not.
